1. DISA ICAI (Information System Audit)
About DISA ICAI course
DISA course is offered by ICAI with the objective to enhance professional skills of its members. It is a Post Qualification Course. This course prepares members to offer services in the area of information security & business continuity which are relatively new avenues as compared to traditional practice. For Internal Audits, audit firms with DISA qualified partners are preferred by the organisations. RBI, SEBI and IRDAI has already mandated annual system audits of all banks, broking house and insurance companies.
DISA 3.0 process
- Firstly you have to undergo DISA E-Learning and appear for E-Learning assessment test for DISA.
- Then you have to undergo DISA Professional Training (PT) of 72 hours which is generally organized in virtual as well as physical mode. Along with DISA PT , three Module Tests of 20 Marks each (30 minutes duration) will be organized online through https://learning.icai.org/iDH/icai/
A project work is also allocated to all the participants and this project will also be of 20 marks (Project Work 10 Marks and VIVA of 10 Marks).

- After completing the ISA Professional Training with minimum marks (Total 60% i.e. 48 out of 80) in DISA Module Tests and Project Work, you have to register online for the DISA ET (Eligibility Test) that is generally organized on Second Saturday of May/ November.

- After completing DISA ET with minimum marks, you have to register online for the DISA (Assessment Test) that is conducted by the Examination Department of the Institute. It is important to note that members have to fill the ISA AT Form issued/hosted on www.icai.org, by the Examination Department.

3. Post Qualification Course in Insurance and Risk Management (DIRM ICAI)
About DIRM course
Post Qualification Course in Insurance and Risk Management (DIRM) is an insurance-industry-specific course for the members of the Institute to enable them make forays in the emerging sector. The Course was conceptualized as a capacity building measure for Institute’s members and embodies in itself an integrated approach of conceptual learning through self-study and practical and experience through Crash Courses, Orientation Course and seminars.
Course for Diploma in Insurance and Risk Management (DIRM)
The Insurance and Risk Management Course shall include training schemes, technical examination and an orientation course of seven days or such time as the Committee on Insurance constituted by the Council for the purpose (hereinafter referred to as the “Committee”) may decide from time to time.
Papers for Technical Examination
A candidate for the DIRM Course shall be examined in 4 papers of 3 hours each covering 4 modules as given below :
Module I: Principles and Practice of Insurance 100Marks
Module II: Technical Aspects of Insurance 100Marks
Module III: Risk Management and Reinsurance 100Marks
Module IV : Business Strategic Planning and Information Technology 100Marks

4. Post Qualification Course - Diploma on Management and Business Finance (DMBF course)
About DMBF course
The Committee is conducting PQC- Diploma on Management & Business Finance Course (DMBF) Course to impart the nitty-gritties of finance amongst the members of the Institute to enable the members to gain acumen, expertise and in-depth knowledge in the areas of Management and Business Finance. The DMBF Course curriculum is comprehensive and aligned to the requirements of senior as well as young members who aim at accelerating their career.
Dissemination of course comprises of
-80 hours of class room training sessions through online mode
-80 hours of sessions shall be done through e-learning modules
-Three weekends online program in association with JBIMS, and
-Examination by Examination Department of ICAI.
A candidate will be declared pass in a group if he secures 40% marks in each subject of the group and 50 % in project work/internal assessment with respect to each subject and a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of that group at one sitting. A candidate will be declared pass in PQC-DMBF Course if he passes all three groups of PQC-DMBF.
